The PAV series was first issued in 1993 as a collaboration between Mario Paci, chief Engineer of Panerai, and Fabrizio Ciampi of Cuoierie Mecchaniche Brelli in Castelfiorentino, Italy.
The result was a collection of "PAV" straps made for all Panerai models.
